Ads in ChatGPT · in Sweden since 31 August 2026
Ads in ChatGPT for service businesses in Sweden
Since 31 August 2026, businesses in Sweden can advertise below ChatGPT's answers. I set up the account for your business, write the ads and report the results every month.
First round: 10 businesses, starting in October 2026.
A ChatGPT Ads campaign is an ad for your business shown below ChatGPT's answers to users in Sweden. Since 31 August 2026, any business can launch one itself through OpenAI's ads manager. I do it for you: the account, ad copy, settings, tracking and report, on an account that belongs to your business.

In Sweden since 31 August 2026
OpenAI's self-serve ads manager works in 31 European countries, including Sweden. It's a beta version, so the ads manager is still changing.

Below the answer, clearly labelled
An ad is a separate block below the answer: the business name, a headline, one sentence, an image and a link. It doesn't change what ChatGPT answers.

Seen by Free and Go users
The paid Plus, Pro and business plans have no ads. So you reach people who use ChatGPT for free or at a low price.

You pay for clicks or impressions
Three models: per thousand impressions, per click, or per click optimised for conversions. You set the budget yourself and can pause it at any time.

What an ad below the answer looks like
Someone asks ChatGPT about a renovation, a move or a mechanic. They get a normal answer. Below it, in a separate, labelled block, they see your business: its name, a headline, one sentence, an image and a link to your website.
- Your business name and address. Customers know straight away who they're dealing with.
- A headline and one sentence. In Swedish, written for your customers.
- An image and a link. The link leads to a page with your phone number and a form.
Next to this is a sketch of the format. ChatGPT's logo and look belong to OpenAI, so I don't show them here.
Why it's worth starting in the first few months
Three reasons from OpenAI's documentation and the history of Google Ads.
The channel has been live since 31 August 2026
Self-serve ads in ChatGPT have been available in Sweden since 31 August 2026. If you start now, you'll get to know the channel before other businesses in your industry join the auction.
You learn while the auction is young
In Google Ads, bids rose for years as more businesses joined the auction. In ChatGPT the auction is only just starting. If you test now, you'll know sooner which ads work.
Relevance counts
In Europe, OpenAI is not personalising ads at launch and matches them to the content of the conversation. The auction is weighted by relevance, so a relevant ad from a small business can beat a more expensive ad from a large one.
What an ad below a ChatGPT answer gives you
You enter an auction that opened on 31 August 2026
In Google Ads, many businesses bid for the same spot. In ChatGPT the auction in Sweden has been running since 31 August 2026, so the channel is new for your competitors too.
Customers see you while they're looking for a contractor
Someone asks ChatGPT how much a bathroom renovation costs in Sweden. Your ad can appear below the answer.
You pay the ad budget straight to OpenAI
For clicks or impressions, with a daily budget you set yourself. You can pause the campaign with one click. You sign the advertising agreement with OpenAI; I don't handle your budget or resell ads.
I run the campaign
The account, verification, ad copy, settings and report are on me. You reply to the customers who get in touch, and every month I send you a report on what the campaign has shown.
What I do in your ad account
Account and verification
You create the ad account in your business's name, and I guide you through OpenAI's verification. The account is yours; I'm an invited user on it.
Strategy and context hints
I decide which conversations the ad makes sense for: about your service, in Sweden. OpenAI's system decides which question it appears under.
Three ads to start
A headline, a sentence, an image and a landing page. I write them in Swedish.
Campaign and budget
I set the objective, the bid and the daily budget so there are no surprises. You decide how much you want to spend.
Tracking on your website
If your website is with me, I set up conversion tracking and the forms. If not, you get short instructions for your web developer.
Monthly report
One page in English: impressions, clicks, cost, enquiries and what I'm changing next month.
SEK 2,399 to start and SEK 949 a month
Two amounts on your invoice from Jupado. The third, the budget for the ads themselves, we agree on in writing, and you pay it directly to OpenAI.
Campaign setup
SEK 2,399
one-off, excl. VAT
Account, verification, strategy, three ads, tracking on your website, launch. Customers with a Jupado website on a monthly plan don't pay the setup fee.
Management
SEK 949
a month, excl. VAT
Optimisation, new ad versions, a monthly report. Minimum 3 months, then 1 month's notice. You can't judge the channel in less time.
First round
10 businesses
starting in October 2026
The first round is 10 businesses, because each setup means an account, verification, ads and two weeks of checking the results every day. I'll open the next round once the first 10 campaigns are live.
The setup fee is non-refundable once paid, because work starts the same day. The ad budget doesn't go through Jupado. You see it in your own ads manager and can pause it at any time.
Which businesses ChatGPT ads make sense for
During the test period, OpenAI mainly accepts local services, home, travel and education. Some industries are reviewed manually, and some are rejected.
It makes sense if:
- you run a service business in Sweden: renovation, construction, cleaning, transport, car repair, gardening, removals
- you have a website, or at least a working Google Business Profile, that the ad can link to
- you have a separate budget for the ads themselves, which we agree on in writing before we start, and you'll give the channel three months
- you accept that the first campaign in a new channel is a test
It's a waste of budget if:
- you work in finance, healthcare or legal services. OpenAI reviews these industries manually and I can't promise yours will be approved
- you sell alcohol, run betting or publish adult content. OpenAI doesn't allow these categories
- you only need ads in one town. Outside the US, the ads manager targets the whole country
- you expect a guaranteed number of customers. The channel has only been live since 31 August 2026 and OpenAI doesn't have performance data yet
What OpenAI's ads manager doesn't let me promise today
- I won't give you a predicted cost per customer. OpenAI itself says it doesn't have performance data for any industry yet.
- I can't set an ad to show “only in Gothenburg”. Outside the US, the ads manager targets the whole country.
- I won't promise that the ad will appear for a specific question. Context hints are only a pointer for the system.
- I can't guarantee an ad will be approved. OpenAI can reject any ad without giving a reason; if that happens, I revise it and resubmit.
From your enquiry to a report after 30 days
You send an enquiry
I check whether your industry and budget make sense here. If they don't, I'll say so in my reply, within 2 working days.
Account and verification
You create the account in your business's name, and I guide you through OpenAI's verification. Verification goes through OpenAI's queue and can take a while.
Ads and landing page
I write three ads, prepare the images and check that the page people land on gives them a reason to stay.
Campaign launch
I set the objective, the daily budget and the context hints. For the first two weeks I check it every day.
Report after 30 days
You get one page in English with the numbers and a decision: we scale up, change the ads or change the approach. We assess the channel as a whole after three months.
Related services
Website on a monthly plan
An ad has to lead to a website that turns visitors into customers. Customers with a website on a monthly plan, from SEK 495 a month, don't pay the setup fee for a campaign.
Google Business Profile
Customers who see an ad often check the business on the map as well. I fill in your profile in Swedish and update it every month.
Local SEO
An ad works from the day it starts, while a Google ranking takes months to build. I start local SEO with a free website audit.
Questions about ads in ChatGPT
Who will see my ad in ChatGPT?
People using ChatGPT on the Free and Go plans, in Sweden, in conversations on topics close to your service. Users of the Plus, Pro and business plans, and people under 18, don't see ads.
Will the ad change what ChatGPT says about my industry?
No. The ad is a separate, labelled block below the answer and, according to OpenAI, has no influence on its content. You can't “buy” a better answer about your business.
How much does one click cost?
I can't know in advance, because the price is set by the auction. OpenAI suggests advertisers start at 3 to 5 dollars per click (help.openai.com, “ChatGPT Ads Basics”), which by my conversion is roughly SEK 30–50, depending on the exchange rate. That's why we agree the ad budget in writing before we start, based on your industry and how many clicks we want to collect in a month.
Can I spend more than the daily budget I set?
Yes, but within limits. According to OpenAI, a campaign can spend up to twice the daily budget on a single day, and no more than seven times it in a week. I set the budget with that margin in mind.
Who pays for the ads: me or Jupado?
You do, by card, directly to OpenAI, on an ad account that belongs to your business. I only invoice for the setup and management. That way you see every krona spent in the ads manager and can pause the campaign at any time.
Do I need a website?
The ad has to lead somewhere. A simple page with a phone number and a form, where customers can see straight away how to contact you, is enough. If you don't have a website, I first build one on a monthly plan and then add the ads to it.
Do I need cookie consent?
If we set up OpenAI Pixel conversion tracking, yes: the Pixel sets a cookie, and in Sweden that requires the user's consent. On websites I look after, I prepare the banner and the entry in the cookie policy together with the Pixel.
Why only 10 businesses in the first round?
Because each setup means an account, verification, ad copy and two weeks of checking the results every day. 10 is as many as I can do properly in one round. The first round starts in October 2026. I'll open the next one once the first 10 campaigns are live.
Is Jupado an OpenAI partner or certified agency?
No. I'm an independent contractor using the public, self-serve ads manager just like any business. ChatGPT and OpenAI are trademarks of OpenAI, and the ads are subject to OpenAI's policies.
Send an enquiry about your campaign
Write a few sentences about your business. Within 2 working days I'll reply whether your industry will pass OpenAI's rules, what ad budget makes sense and when we can start. If a campaign doesn't make sense for your business, I'll say so. First round: 10 businesses, starting in October 2026.
