The area and getting around in Stockholm

Stockholms län has 26 municipalities (kommuner). Solna, Sundbyberg, Nacka, Huddinge, Botkyrka, Haninge, Järfälla and Täby are separate municipalities with their own searches. Within the City of Stockholm (Stockholms stad), customers search by part of the city: Södermalm, Kungsholmen, Vasastan and Östermalm are in the inner city (innerstaden), with Söderort further out to the south and Västerort to the west.

Getting around is a topic of its own in Stockholm. Driving into the centre and along Essingeleden is subject to the congestion tax (trängselskatt), and parking in the inner city can be difficult. Södertälje is about 35 km to the south, and Upplands Väsby is on the E4 to the north. On the area page I say plainly whether you travel into the centre and how you charge for travel.

Which districts should I choose for my pages?

The ones where you have the most jobs and want more. The size of the district matters less. If you travel to Huddinge, Botkyrka and Haninge, three pages for those places will do more than one for “Stockholm”.
